Corny & silly sitcom starring Ray Bolger, the highlight being a dance number. I'm certain someone will figure out the broadcast date soon. Note: Contains original commercials for Kem-Tone paint and Pall Mall cigarettes.

Subject: Where's the audience?
The evident mistake here is the same one made countless times in TV history: sign a big name with big talent and it won't matter what you put them in. Only it does matter, and audiences understandably declined to make this thin sitcom-vaudeville hybrid a habit. A live drama called 'Treasury Men In Action' crushed it in the ratings. Relying on information found at CTVA (somewhat dubious, I know) this episode aired on February 18, 1954.

Everybody loves Raymond. Ray Bolger played the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz 1939? I wasn't really a fan of his but this is a wonderful sitcom.. Very well done for 1953-55 television and maybe could be redone in a present day sitcom?
I plan to include this gem in my movie podcast at
